I am a gestural painter. I pursue the pressure of brushing on canvas and the hidden beauty of color, painting until the image comes in a kind of timeless state. As if to make visible the time between exhalation and inhalation, a moment in which we are able to travel our collective unconscious and have the limitless experience of participating in everything and everything in us, so our task would be to change ourselves to change the world.  To train our perception and to accept that the essential is not in the visible. So my pictures aim at the invisible, the space in between, the background from which something arises and in which the represented disappears again. Perhaps it is precisely this moment of appearance as something from the living space of the possible.

But what is a picture for me?
A picture is the wing, the two-dimensional space of my imagination, my intuition and – even more – of a life form that takes unconscious and conscious seriously as a play arrangement and deals responsibly with itself and the world.

Ich bin eine gestisch Malerin. Ich gehen den Druck des Pinseln auf Leinwand nach und der verborgenen Schönheit von Farbe. Ich male bis das Bild in einer Art zeitlosen Zustand kommt. So als würde man die Zeit zwischen Ausatmen und Einatmen sichtbar machen, einem Zeitpunkt also in der wir fähig sind unser kollektives Unbewusste bereisen zu können und die grenzenlose Erfahrung machen an allem teilzuhaben und alles an uns.So wäre unsere Aufgabe uns zu ändern, um die Welt zu ändern. Unsere Wahrnehmung zu schulen und zu akzeptieren, das das Wesentlich nicht im Sichtbaren liegt. So zielen meine Bilder auf das Unsichtbare, den Zwischenraum, dem Hintergrund aus dem etwas entsteht und in dem das Dargestellte wieder verschwindet. Vielleicht ist es genau dieser Moment des Erscheinenes als Etwas aus den lebendigen Raum des Möglichen.
Aber was ist ein Bild für mich? Ein Bild ist die Tragfläche, der zweidimensionale Raum meiner Phantasie, meiner Intuition und – noch viel mehr- einer Lebensform. Kunst ist eine Lebensform, die unbewusstes und bewusstes als Spielanordnung ernst nimmt und verantwortungsvoll mit sich und der Welt umgeht.
